Cana Laboratories PEF Recognition BHCC 2023

On September 26th 2023, the pioneers of the Greek pharmaceutical industry received an honorary plaque as a recognition of their contribution to the public health of the country, by the Panhellenic Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association, on the occasion of its 90th anniversary.

Kosta Kanaroglou, British VP of the Board of the BHCC as well as President and CEO of Cana Laboratories which was founded in 1928, had the honor of receiving this recognition on behalf of his grandfather.

Cana Laboratories has manufactured and distributed a broad range of proprietary pharmaceutical and health-related products and operated as a trusted partner and exclusive distributor of multinational pharmaceutical companies such as AstraZeneca, Janssen, Merck, and Viatris, as well as some of the largest Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) companies such as Nestle, Unilever, and P&G. In 2023 the company joined COSMOS HEALTH INC., a global healthcare group incorporated in the NASDAQ stock exchange in Ney York.

Cana’s 5,000m2 owned production facility located in Athens, Greece, is licensed under European Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and certified by the European Medicines Agency (EMA) for the manufacture of pharmaceuticals, food supplements, cosmetics, biocides, and medical devices. It boasts a range of production lines capable of manufacturing solids, orals, semi-solids, and liquids.
